Californian's inconsistency:
     With regard to stem cell research one article stated that Bush lost
political support... Two pages later another article stated that 60%
of Americans supported him on  this issue. Since he was elected
president with a minority of the general vote, I can't figure out how
60% approval is losing support.

Condit:
     The press has never mentioned that it is the democrats that
wants Condid to resign. The reason is simple, California has a democrat
Governor who will select another democrat to replace him, who will
subsequently run for reelection with the advantages of an incombent. If
Condid runs for reelection the Republicans have a great chance of
replacing a democrat in the Lower House of Congress.
